Dumbell weights. Lay on a long coffee table (hope it holds your weight). Take a dumbell in each hand and extend down as far as you can with arms all the way extended outward. Then bring your weights together above your chest, keeping arms straight. (Butterflies). That will build your pecks. Chest muscles.

    Leg lifts:

Hang from a pull-up bar. Lift legs up so you just hang there. Then with your legs together, pull your knees to your chest as many times as you can. This will give you abs of steel more than any sit up or crunch will. It’s called hanging leg lifts.

    Repeat as necessary.

I just found this great site that lists and shows you how to do a gazillion different exercises either at the gym or at home; you need to have some weights though.

you may want to invest on free weights (barbells/dumbbells), and a weight bench and bring the gym to your house. make the bench press, squat and deadlift the foundation of your exercise program.

or you can do bodyweight movements such as push ups, pull ups, squats, lunges, etc.

You’ve come to the right place, my friend.
Invest in some dumbbells, a work out bench and a barbell with some light plate weights to start. Gold’s Gym can be put on the back burner for the day that you plan to go out for Mr. Universe, but for right now, you’ve got the home tools to get a great workout.
Go into exrx.net and scan all the different workouts for each muscle group and go from there. I use this web site religiously and I work out at home. I’ve belonged to three different gyms in my lifetime and they’re a waste of time and money. Not to mention that ppl often go there to pick up a date or just rap about the latest gossip. YAWN!!! You can do a lot at home. The only thing that you’ll need to adopt, which was no problem for me, is the motivation. At least at a gym, there are few distractions, whereas at home, there’s the phone, the TV, the kids, the spouse, the dog…you name it. Don’t let this derail you. If you’re not motivated in the first place, the gym nor the home will help you out. I think you get the gist. I’ve been doing this home gym thing for a year now and it’s worked out wonderfully.
    Good luck to you.
